sb5101 bricked? invalid IP?

i have a sb5101 and i was able to access the modem thru the gui. now i can't? it's giving me a invalid IP 169.x.x.x and wont connect to the computer I tried to connect with out coax. still can't connect and all i get it the send light blinking. is it bricked?

i'd try a different computer or try via usb but other than that it could be bricked (assuming you have done the requisite malwarebytes scan)

A 169.xx.xx.xx IP means no DHCP server was found..
