Sample differnt Method of checksum using ST5518Chipset with different firmware

This is a clue how to figure the checksum on Broadcom Chipset...

1.Open the attachment firmware BIN file.
2. Download 010 HexEditor.
3. Open the Bin file with HexEditor,
4 Then Do as it shown in picture.
...... This might be off the topic information, but would give all of you better idea how to figure the checksum on broadcom chipset.
it might be closer or simular algo.
Again this file and algorithm is based on 5518 Chipset ST20 Micro.
if anyone can figure how it works on broadcom.
It will help the community alot!
