I had the same problem and "solved" it the same way(changing dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) . Only thing is when I'm using the internet on multiple devices at the same time, it goes pretty slow. It is pretty slow in general anyway even with only one device compared to how it was before. Using SB5101 btw.

try changing dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on just the router only, but not connected devices too. it should speed up a bit.

my model 5101 aint working can u give me link were to get codes and wht do need to change new at this dude dnt want to come fix who sold it pls walk me through after i open modem im in page haxorware 36 i think any help out there??

Call your ISP and get it fixed. Or call the guy you bought it from
