you bricked your modem because you were given wrong info about flashing the firmware also the wrong firmware for that modem:
The size of everything in that modem is different, boot-loader, firmware..
The bootloader is not noisy, and will need to flash a noisy bootloader with the same size, Not from sb5101 or sb5100, and if you were gonna use tom's jtag utility you needed to modified the .def file.
