I had a Arris Model TM602G/CT gave to friend and they are subbed, since I moved out of state. I got a Moto SB5101. There were some interesting features about the modem, now one reason i got rid of it was that when I moved to another comcrap area they didn't support the VOIP service "yet". It had SN#, EMAC: , CMAC, MTA-MAC:
As far as I could tell the MTA part was for the phone service. I never did get a chance to get into the diagnostic/status of the modem. I do not think that haxorware may support it, but may Im not very smart with all this (n00b). So is the HFC MAC the EMAC or CMAC?
ALSO if someone could give me the Stealth info Settings like Software Version as I have all the other info but the 2 previous things. I am almost blue from googling.
I checked the site and their info and what little docs they had. I cannot even fathom the certs and whether haxorware will ever support it.
Apparently since its a new type of modem comcast is heavily endorsing. Comcast promised the Southern part of Virginia cable internet nearly 3yrs and it became available about 4yrs ago, now they are saying oh about 6mo or so on VOIP (Triple$Play) Service. Strangely they offer it in the Northeast TN area (~50mi away)-- sorry for off subject rambling. Any help appreciated and thanx in advance.
