Switch off, leave one hour, switch back on. Screw telnet logs, your obviously locked on to up/down, but cant get a channel..

He's on the wrong channel. If he ignores the settings sent by cmts, how can he get on right one?
If his ethernet mac is registered in the cmts to another mac, he will not lock on, even though he is showing a channel, his ethernet is registered with the last working mac he tried. He needs to flush everything.. An hour should work, but bthe more he tries, and fails, the longer that lock stays in place Disconnect coax, change ethernet mac via hardware properties/advanced, ad in a genuine slow speed mac, as herein is a secret.. even though your mac may be banned, the legal working mac can travel THROUGH the banned mac to gain it's granted access, this switches on the hfc mac to what the new mac is given. |
