webby mac change ok 256 real problems, need help - beguiled - 16-03-2011
Hi folks, ive only ever flashed a couple few webby's b4 so im just a noob really, anyway this friend of mine gave me 5 256's flashed with hax 39 all had went ofline, i have spent 3 days and countless hrs changing mac addresses and im not exagerating when i say at least 200, but all i get on every one on the "overview" page is

this is the same with all 5 with all mac addresses, but when it comes to the webbys i try a few times and hey presto i find a mac addy that works, am i missing something here or what, desperate for help

this shit no longer as easy as it once was to get online without certs is near impossible
last time i tried it without certs i used a list of about 500 macs i think about 10 worked (once i discounted the cable tv boxes). there are programs and scripts that will test macs so you dont have to enter them one by one (i would tell you what they are called but i'm a touch drunk and can not be bothered/remember)

Hi folks, as im on my 4th day trying to get 5 256's online without any joy, i thought i'd take the time to take down all my settings, which are the same for all 5, and ask some kind person if they can compare it with theirs and tell me where im going wrong, i have tried about 200 mac addresses but keep getting same result, so if your bored have a look at this and get back to me b4 i take the last of these tablets and end it for good, bye

1. not getting any kind of lock could be cert/spoof or bpi related
2. bpi 1.0 will only work if there are any active old modems on your isp
3. what the fuck is with that spoof it's wrong on so many levels
ok so 1 covers both 2 and 3 i would dump a non vol from a subbed modem and flash that to haxor

Would HMC work even though the area is 1.1? Or it is only dor 1.0 areas?
