webby mac change ok 256 real problems, need help - beguiled - 16-03-2011 Hi folks, ive only ever flashed a couple few webby's b4 so im just a noob really, anyway this friend of mine gave me 5 256's flashed with hax 39 all had went ofline, i have spent 3 days and countless hrs changing mac addresses and im not exagerating when i say at least 200, but all i get on every one on the "overview" page is in progress waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting scanning this is the same with all 5 with all mac addresses, but when it comes to the webbys i try a few times and hey presto i find a mac addy that works, am i missing something here or what, desperate for help RE: webby mac change ok 256 real problems, need help - drewmerc - 16-03-2011 this shit no longer as easy as it once was to get online without certs is near impossible last time i tried it without certs i used a list of about 500 macs i think about 10 worked (once i discounted the cable tv boxes). there are programs and scripts that will test macs so you dont have to enter them one by one (i would tell you what they are called but i'm a touch drunk and can not be bothered/remember) RE: webby mac change ok 256 real problems, need help - beguiled - 19-03-2011 Hi folks, as im on my 4th day trying to get 5 256's online without any joy, i thought i'd take the time to take down all my settings, which are the same for all 5, and ask some kind person if they can compare it with theirs and tell me where im going wrong, i have tried about 200 mac addresses but keep getting same result, so if your bored have a look at this and get back to me b4 i take the last of these tablets and end it for good, bye Uptime: 01m 31s Memory: 270KiB/2748KiB (9%) Status: Scanning Trying 273 MHz Haxorware Version 1.1 Revision 39 Status Overview Uptime: 01m 31s Memory: 270KiB/2748KiB (9%) Status: Scanning Trying 273 MHz Haxorware Version 1.1 Revision 39 Status Overview Acquire Downstream Channel In Progress Obtain Upstream Parameters Waiting Upstream Ranging Waiting Establish IP Connectivity Waiting Retrieve Time of Day Waiting Negotiate security Waiting Receive configuration Waiting Register connection Waiting Cable modem status Scanning Signal Downstream Frequency 146 MHz Status Not synced Annex DOCSIS Modulation Unknown Receive Power 12.9 dBmV Signal to Noise ratio 23.4 dB Upstream Frequency 0 MHz Channel ID 0 Status Not synced Mode TDMA Transmit Power 8.3 dBmV Event Log Event Log Time Priority Code Description 1970-01-01 00:02:06 Critical T001.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure -
