Diagnostic cable - madman12 - 20-10-2010
i read there is a serial method for loading the firmware to the SB5101.
can someone post a pic or schematic of this cable (Diagnostic cable). i don't want to go the jtag route unless i really have to. or is this the usb cable it comes with?

just so I'm clear; i just connect the cable to those 4 pins, or do i run it through a max232 chip?

a usb ttl/serial cable has a max chip in it so no need for any other chip
