Using Stored Local Docsis files - mickh - 24-07-2010

Hi All,

Is there any way i can get onlline using a valid docsis file i have saved and any mac address including ones not registered on the HFC (Cable) network??

I am new to modding modems but do have some knowledge of the HFC cable network and how it works through working for the company a few years ago,

Thanks in advance people,

lol in the old days yes you could but alas now, with the new network security no
i suggest you visit a friend on the next node and scan your ass off for macs
and run the resulting macs thru haxorware tools or haxorware mac changer
(and hope you get one with an acceptable config)

Cheers thanks for the info really appreciated,

Whats the best program for sniffing macs?? do i just use a DHCP scanner and make sure i am on a different node???

If i use a mac off the same node woudl that cause connectivity issues for both users and woudl the cable company be able to pick up on this quicker??

there would be connections issues for both
i still use solsters scanner
