Checksum? Can't register on ISP network with custom config. - Zaphod - 30-04-2010 when you change a config file, and save it, it asks for a "Authentication String". We left it blank, but the ISP say's no way. It get's to the last step when booting up, and trys to register with ***ISP***, but then get's rejected. We found the checksum in the regular config file, and replaced our MODIFIED config with a known good checksum, but that got rejected. So what I don't know, but would like to know, is how does the modem verify this against the ISP? RE: Checksum?
