forceware 1.4 on sb6141 settings - dienasty - 05-06-2015
has anyone successfully get the sb6141 working? I installed the forceware 1.4 already, but unable to get it online. Which Tuner type and PGA type should I pick? thank you!! I have attached some of the settings.

You can try to use tuner mxl261x2 and pga mt1570.

Click on start Mode and choose "online" and reboot

The force config is not really working. Any suggestion on what to do or working version of forceware on sb6141?

I'm in the same boat as you. Like to know if any of the previous firmware versions will work with it so that I can autoserve a config. And word of caution.....I bricked mine messing with the tuner settings. changed it to sb6120 or sb6121, can't remember, and it bricked and had to reflash.

I know, but which version and what tuner settings to use for sb6141 is the question. Don't want to screw up and brick again.

There has to be another way...lol. That is some major makeshift rigging going on there. Does anyone have the sb6141 up and going on earlier versions of Forceware that can autoserve/force configs? And if you do what version and what tuner settings are you using? I'm not worried about using all 8 downstream channels at this point. I just want to get it online and not brick it again.

Nope, only FW 1.4 Works on the SB6141, earlier versions don't have support for 6141's tuner

Looks like I'll be waiting for a newer FW version. 1.4 right now doesn't even let me change/save the tuner settings at the moment either. I flashed back to it and now have that problem. Crazy. So even if I could force a config, I still be SOL.
