Swopping FS Via Max232/Serial From an Identical Modem - peeteei - 28-07-2009 Hi, i have 2 modems (epc2100r2). Both operational with haxorware. The problem i have is i've forgotten the password for one of the modems. Both modems are the same model with the same samsung chips. The only difference is, the modem i've forgotten the password on is haxorware rev30, the other is rev31. They both have noisy bootloaders so i was wondering is it possible to boot into the modem via serial, save its FS to file. Then boot into the other modem and write that FS to give it the same password/options etc as the other modem. Or could i just erase the filesystem via the default bootloaders console commands, i know theres a write command, but i'm not sure which section/offset and how to specify what data to write. Any help would be appreciated, Many Regards. RE: Swopping FS Via Max232/Serial From an Identical Modem - peeteei - 28-07-2009 I think i've figured it out, i did a dump of 64bytes via: read_memory -n 64 0x9FD40075 and it shows the username and password |
