Do you guys have more success (read, easier to learn on) with one brand/model over the others? I am going to be on TWC.

Not really. See what is used most in your area. Sb 5101 is the most common.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking to go D3. I have tested with D1 years back, but have quite a bit to read on certs apparently. I have lurked here a bit, so I know I'll be spending quite a lot of time over at Cisco reading up.

I assume any of the Moto's would be fine? Thinking about the SB6121.

I would get comfortable with a d2 first, if you haven't been in the hobby awhile. It's hard to do now if your ISP is minding the store...

I guess I should've said d2, as that's what I was testing on. AFAIK, my node still allows scanning and checking MACs. I hooked that modem up a month or two ago and was able to still get online. Smile

We'll see.
