Sb5100 receive and send lights are blinking - Vezhiux - 07-03-2013 Hi there, I have "plug n play" sb5100 for few years now and it was working without any problems. Using with comcast in chicago suburbs area. Today it stop working. Power light - on Receive - blinking Send - blinking Online - off Activity - on Does this means end of era here? Or is it still fixable? Thanks in advance everybody. RE: Sb5100 receive and send lights are blinking - Vezhiux - 07-03-2013 Thanks, it is pretty tuff reading these threads now on my smartphone... So i guess i can throw this to the garbage can Any recommendations on what to purchase? Something "plug n play" that should work for at least year or two? Mr Florida, I also noticed that you were recommending sb5101 in other threads, I do have one in my garage, I used it 2-3 years ago, I tried to connect it today, all lights come up, but when i go online it forwards to comcast website that says "unable to access the network due to cbl modem that is no longer supported by Comcast". So I thought it is garbage as well? Appears that it is still fixable? RE: Sb5100 receive and send lights are blinking - Vezhiux - 08-03-2013 To mr.Florida 1) only mentally disabled people can write something like this. Usually I forgive them, since they are mentally handicapped. 2) I never ever in my life paid for services like this. Neither I'm going to. Thats why I'm here in the forum searching for the tips, info, links etc. 3) I'm not expert here, so "flash haxorware" does not mean anything to me. If you can not provide detailed info, or at least a link where i can find "step by step" guidance, don't open your mouth because it is simply stinks. 4) They cost 15$ and $15 does not change my life at all. But thank you for at least one smart idea from your mouth. 5) I don't have time to read tons of threads. If I had time, I would never waste your time either. One more time I'm explaining you that is the reason why i'm here, using a public forum, where some smart people simply can make it easier with some instructions or links if they know what to do and if they know the answers to my questions. Apparently you don't, but simply trying to pretend that you are. So if anybody here in this forum can pm with any smart ideas, links or instructions how to "flash that haxorware and make it work", I'm saying Thank you in advance. "Smart" people like mr Florida, please keep your "intelligence deficiency" for teaching your own kids.
