Tftp Enforce Bypass - Stoowyguy - 19-07-2012

What is

Tftp Enforce Bypass
and
Disable IP Filters on startup

even suppost to be for.. how are you suppose to use them

RE: Tftp Enforce Bypass - SlowGrind6 - 19-07-2012

Tftp enforce bypass is so you can bypass the tftp server.

Disable IP filter on startup does just that. It disables the ip filters set by the config file from your ISP.

RE: Tftp Enforce Bypass - newname - 19-07-2012

Could he really be asking "what are IP filters" and "why would you want to disable them on startup".

Sup I looked at this while ago and this should answer what they are Big Grin

Tftp Enforce Bypass If your ISP enforces Tftp config file this option will tell the modem to download the supplied config file at the right point - even if you are using another one.
Disable IP Filters on startup IP filters are used by some ISP's to block traffic of certain types on certain ports (such as if your ISP blocks port 80 to prevent you from hosting a web server). This option bypasses them entirely.
