Hi!
I'm having trouble updating my sb5101. computer picks up on the signal but browser wont open pages. i downloaded the latest firmware but don't know how to update. any help would be really appreciated

Haxorware. in the download it says to use the firmware upgrade to upload the file , i did that ha it reboot and nothing.

sounds like a bad flash (assuming you have done the normal crap like clearing your browser's cache)
this normally happens when you try to update when your modem is not stable before you tried updating (when it's still scanning for channels)
