1.0 1.1 and 3.0 docsis pdf will be perfect.

There's an old pdf floating around titled "hacking the cable modem" by DerEngel I have it if you want it. Its from 2006

There are no current step by steps anymore as the ISP's would simply use them to fix the rest of our workarounds.
Step by step modem mods are posted at SBH.
Step by step ISP workarounds only exist in the minds of those testers who have found them.
