I need build or buy this thing(the cable called "Black Cat"), right?. But how I can run haxorware software on my PC ? Sorry, if it stupid question - I realy don't know what to do with *.bin files. RE: Change MAC on Motorola SBG900E - drewmerc - 22-03-2012 well honestly this is going to be hard as none of what your trying to do is easy for somebody new this is old school shit, and there are no easy answers as not many people use that modem simply put 1. build blackcat cable, you need to use toms jtag so it'll have to be parallel as i dont think a usbjtag works with this modem as they are rare (well you could use an ft2232 usbjtag but i doubt you have one of those) 2. backup your firmware and flash the console firmware from other thread 3. without coax access telnet and change mac using console commands (these console commands should be the same as any other modem more or less, better to find an old infinite guide to show you them) 4. plug in coax and go online (you should hope that your isp does not need certs as i have no idea about a 900's nonvol and if they can be cut pasted, but if you get to this point i'll try and help you) |
