It would be awesome if we could edit the certificates or download it of the server. Is this possible?

as much as i'd like to say this is not possible the fact would remains that it is possible
but even as i'm writing that i guess you don't understand what certificates are, or know what a certificate authority is
i suggest you google the diginotar story to find out what happens to company's that let you sign fake certs
