Using sniffed macs on the same subnet? - stuholds - 22-10-2011 This may seem like a silly question, i would just like some clarification. If I was to use a sniffed mac from my own subnet, would this cause a DHCP failure. Am I right to think, that if 2 of the same macs are on the same subnet and being used would they both be signed the same ip, thus causing a clash and no internet service being offered????? As I said just trying to get clarification. Thanks RE: Using sniffed macs on the same subnet? - drewmerc - 22-10-2011 they'd clash and more often than not cause the isp to investigate due to subscribed modem being in a reboot loop RE: Using sniffed macs on the same subnet? - stuholds - 22-10-2011 Thanks for the good advice mate |
