So there is a dis-connect from wat im seeing an wat im being told i should see lol like i thought

EG: config i downloaded from the modem

   

this is wats downloaded threw the tftp server ( or atleast wat i get when i click on the config file after registration)

tho when i run dhcpforcer on my stockmodem i get a diff config file it says my modem is using .

this is y the spoof strings giving me a hard time

dynamic shitty configs,
anyways quick trial to get you online (or at leased closer)
use the mac from your stock modem and also the spoof (normaly says in somewhere on the modems internal web pages)
cause right now i think this is pointless and i dont think it'll get you online as i'm guessing your gonna need certs and that we should just skip to the dump your nonvol from your stock modem and flash that to the modded modem

Ur right and i realized that last night befor i got this message lol after reading the tuts on exstracting certs i coped out lol it was Little beyound my comprehension i my still do it later just for shits n giggles but after a month of reading just needed somthing to work ...

GoodNews is thats exsacrly the prob registered im online and now evertthing i read is now working and going to action now i start testing Tongue thanks 4 the knowlege

As requested : the size of this thing is amazing its literally half the size of it older modle they even have a plastic adapter to get the leds to show up front ... lolSmile

Thanx again for the help so much is startin to make sense now ... im kinda glad i learned all the things i did before i got running makes testing a BREEZE instead of stumbling over mistakes

why are the pics so small?
does inypic on the default settings resizes pics to make the smaller
any chance you can upload them to a better image host (or tinypic without resizeing them)

these r the original sizes lol i posted them with the original but they were gynormous so i posted the resizes

are those cable trucks?
go act british and offer them a brew (or what ever you drink over there) and talk to them
cable techs over here will stand there and talk about what they are doing (hell anything not to do any work, plus they cant get told off for not working as it customer relations)

lol yeah they had three lined up behind each other .. know clue wat they were upto but they contract out to install new connections and the barely use 1 truck for that sometimes just a van lol

well according to the docsis talks at defcon they can only trace you to the neighbourhood
but i would also have unplugged my modem as well

did you hide your modem in the attic like if it where drugs lol , sry just doing some researching and came accross those menacing cable company trucks .what where they installing there ffs .
