how to do this? Seems snmp now disabled in my network too.

RE: General question about modems - drewmerc - 26-09-2010

open up a subbed modem and take a full backup

RE: General question about modems - kvant0x - 26-09-2010

I have no physical access to the subbed modem, there is no way. I can only try getting cert remotely if this could be possible.

RE: General question about modems - drewmerc - 26-09-2010

no sorry

RE: General question about modems - kvant0x - 26-09-2010

does the certs must match the cable modem hardware? I.e. if I have Moto SB5101, I can only use certs from this model, not certs from Cisco or Thomson cable modems?

RE: General question about modems - drewmerc - 26-09-2010

not at all
me i'd do a full dump extract the nonvol and certs
make sure the spoof matches the modem you got them from
flash both to the haxor modem (dont know if it has to be done like that to be honest but it works so i stick with it)

RE: General question about modems - kvant0x - 27-09-2010

tried run snmpcertthread 1.4 and 1.5, but both show error

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)."

Also, scanning for cert is only possible inside network node?

RE: General question about modems - drewmerc - 27-09-2010

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) is a .net error normally its because its not installed?

and yes its inside your own node

RE: General question about modems - kvant0x - 27-09-2010

yes, .net framework wasn't installed, sorry
will it work on .net v2.0?

RE: General question about modems - drewmerc - 27-09-2010

no idea .net makes me mad
