At the top of that post in the link you posted Drew mate it did say start at 9600 baud rate and thats what i used,
but once i got that garbage stuff i tried this way which was posted further down the page on the same link you posted matey

but like i said i had it on 9600 still by trying the top method 1st & forgot to change to 115200

I'v got more modems so in the bin it goes i cant be arsed with it like !

from ground then rx then tx then power
and mine runs at 115200

Drew did say it would/might need a bootloader flashed to it 1st but i'v never looked at it since our last convo 2 year ago LOL
