Private string is just that...
Public is in the CFG and this is for queries to remote elements..
We dont discuss how to see the Private string in the CM...

how can i get cert from arris modem....I use fastsnmp,,,,I get IP and I can see arris modem ..

You could always flash hax on it and dump the nonvol. Doing it by snmp is the hard way since you have access to the modem.

Put full hax on it and get a true telnet log while you are at it. It will help you out in the long run. And you can post it so other people might be able to help you out.

Or, just use your NT and pull the nonvol off of it.
