Spend the 60 bucks and use usbjtagnt. I have been
using it for years without a problem. It can also be used
for the 3.0 docis modems. Unfortunately no Haxomatic
in production.

yes but if board 8 pin holes are soldered then nothing can be done im i correct?

Solder sucker and soldering iron will fix that for ya
Or if your good flux and braided copper wire will suck up the solder too

buy a solder sucker to suck the solder out, they are only a couple of bucks
or if your cheep like me just solder a short bit of wire to the via and shove it into the jtag cable connector

pogo pins will work to, hell at one point way back i made my own adapter, just by holding the pins on the via's then adding a lot of hot melt glue all around, worked good too and lasted a good while across many reflashes

so for better understanding, to flash both dpc2100r2 and sb5101 which one do i need 1. Jtag NT or 2.USB TTL to Jtag???

ttl is different interface. Buy a NT from usbjtag.com about 68.00 shipped from canada.

First install The program net-snmp-5.4.2.1.win32
Make sure that the Firmware is called "haxorware.bin" Copy the Firmware that is in this folder or change the name
of your bin file for (haxorware.bin) And add to the TFTP Folder.

SET UP TCP/IP:
192.168.100.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.100.1

1. Open your TFTP server and be sure that the haxorware.bin is in the Folder:


This method work when is the Modem DPC2100R2 With the firmware ver: v202r1256-060303

Just open The DPC2100R2.bat File and follow the intructions is very easy When You see that the TFTP Server
Finish Sending the bin file wait 5 seconds and reboot the modem!!
And Enjoy Haxorware.


NOTE:
For this method work you need to install First net-snmp-5.4.2.1.win32 add in the folder
And that the TFTP is Ready to Sent the bin File called (haxorware.bin) add in the folder is the last version 11rev39
